We act for a Seller or Buyer of commercial, industrial or retail property.

It is important that the agreement protects the interests of the parties. 

For example, a Buyer should insist on the inclusion of a due diligence special condition in the agreement making the sale conditional upon the Buyer obtaining satisfactory results of searches and enquiries in relation to the property being purchased.

The Buyer should obtain taxation advice from a qualified accountant on the best structure for the deal. GST also needs to be considered. The sale of a going concern is exempt from payment of GST.
